(01) OVERVIEW
What this
really covers.
Most tools ask a team to change first and see value later. Onboarding runs the other way round: a planner does the setup, and your team sees a real date before the week is out.
We start from the tools you already use. Issues, repositories and calendars connect in an afternoon, then we map owners and check the plan against the work that is really happening.
What your team actually does
Very little. Each lead gives us about an hour across the week: one call to confirm who owns what, and one to read the first forecast together. Nobody has to fill in a new form or move their work to a new board.
Behind the scenes, the planner reads every open issue, matches it to a milestone, and flags the places where the plan and the work disagree. Those flags become the first conversation of the week.
What you have on day five
By the fifth day your leads have a forecast they can defend, the top risks in order, and the first ranked fixes. You also get a short written note explaining every assumption we made, so nothing in the number is a mystery.
01

Every open item matched to a person, so gaps show up early.
04
First forecast review
A guided first read of the forecast with your leads.

(03) HOW WE WORK
Close to your team,
from day one.
We work from your plan, not ours. The first two days are spent reading: what is open, who holds it, and which dates were promised to whom.
Only then do we connect the forecast. That order matters, because a forecast built on a misread plan is confident and wrong. Reading first means the first number your team sees is one they recognise.
We keep a shared channel open all week, so questions get answered in minutes instead of waiting for the next call.
THE CHALLENGE
Northwind had three product lines and one shared release calendar. Every lead kept their own spreadsheet, and the dates in them disagreed by up to three weeks.
Nobody was wrong on purpose. Each sheet was updated after a different meeting, so the plan leadership saw was always a few days behind the work.
THE OUTCOME
By day five the three sheets were one forecast. It showed the real launch date, the two teams carrying most of the risk and the smallest change that would protect the date.
Six weeks later the leads still open it every morning, and the Friday status call has been cut from an hour to fifteen minutes.
(05) HOW IT RUNS
Three steps, then you run it.
1
We connect your tools and import the live plan.
2
We map owners and check the plan against real work.
3
We walk your leads through the first forecast.

IN PRACTICE
Day three: owners confirm their work in a 20-minute call.
